Davido Signs Idowest To DMW Records

Davido has signed street-hop singer, Idowest to his label, DMW Records.

The DMW boss broke the news to the public via Instagram. Davido shared a video of the Shepeteri singer singing the dotted lines, on his Insta story. He followed it up another post which contains a picture that captures the scene of the contract signing. His post was captioned,

‘Welcome to DMW !! IDOWEST!!!!!! You have proved ur worth!!!! NOW LETS GET MONEY!! JI MASUN!! Cc @officialidowest @prince_ii ?’

Clearly, Davido is expanding his DMW ‘Gang’ with the addition of the singer to the team which already boasts of the likes of Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Dremo, Yonda and producer, Fresh VDM. 

Idowest who is one of the vanguards of the shaku shaku trend, is expected to bring a different type of energy and creativity to the team – a little more flavour of grass root music and crude sound which could help DMW get some extra amount of street love.

What Timaya Has To Say About People Living Fake Lifestyle

It is a known fact that some if not most people in the society today overstate their wealth and happiness to meet up with the standards of the society and create an impression of a perfect life but this style of living is increasingly being condemned and Our Dance-hall and Hip-pop singer, Timaya is advising against it.

While people are constantly being called out for living fake lives on social media, the Ah Blem Blem singer took to his Instagram page to advice against such act. He posted an image which carried a text that read;

‘Wear the clothes you can afford. Eat the food you can afford. Drink the alcohol you can afford. Live where you can afford. Buy the car you can afford. Have the wedding you can afford. 

Don’t go broke and in debt and impress people. Live within your means.’

On social media, random users and celebrities like KCEE, Oge Okoye, Skiibii and very recently, Kizz Daniel have come under fire for different cases that relates to exaggeration, and in some cases, attempt at deceiving the general public, perhaps to boost their reputation or earn them some good will. 

However, Timaya, with his recent tweet on Instagram, is saying such lifestyle should stop.

Nigerian musician, Kiss Daniel changes stage name

Nigerian musician, popularly known as Kiss Daniel, seems to have changed his stage name.

Flyboy Entertainment Boss, Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kiss Daniel has changed his stage name to Kizz Daniel.

About a week ago, the singer did a makeover of his social media account, taking down the posts on his Instagram page and trimmed down the list of people he is following to 14, as at the time of this post.

Very recently, it was observed that the singer’s Instagram username has been changed from @iamkissdaniel to @iamkizzdaniel, brewing speculations that the “No Do” singer has adopted a new stage name and has left the name ‘Kiss Daniel’ for G-worldwide.

Recall that his former label laid claim to the ownership of his assumed former name, ‘Kiss Daniel’, in their legal battle against him.

It is believed that the change of name was done in reaction to the direction of the legal war between him and G-worldwide Entertainment.

While we await an official statement from Kiss Daniel’s camp, the speculations regarding the change of name continue to grow.
